Professional Conferences provides sessions featuring current best practices and innovations in local government management. Conferences serve as training sessions to develop managerial skills and offer ICMA Credentialed Manager Credit.

Next Generation

Bi-Annual Professional Development is offered, geared towards early to mid-career professionals, but members at all levels are welcome.

Internship program - Annually, up to two paid fellows from partnering universities are placed in a host community for hands-on professional development and local government experience.

Senior Advisors – Provide support to help address the personal and professional needs of individual members including career assistance and support during the entire spectrum of a member’s career.

Mentoring and Coaching – MME is committed to bringing together Michigan municipal managers at all levels to strengthen the profession through peer-to-peer interaction.

Secretariat Support – Provides support to the President and the Board; oversees the budget; provides information to members; and assists in the coordination of MME events.
