Municipal Executives are hard at work all across Michigan, improving communities and planning for the future. And now they have a new name and brand to guide them for years to come. The organization representing city, county, township and village officials from throughout the state officially unveiled its new name - Michigan Municipal Executives (MME - and branding today at its annual Winter Institute taking place this week in Kalamazoo.
Michigan Municipal Executives Coming to Kzoo - Jan. 30, 2017
More than 200 local government leaders from throughout the state will be in Kalamazoo this week for the 2017 Michigan Municipal Executives (MME) Winter Institute. MME, formerly known as the Michigan Local Government Management Association (MLGMA), has a winter education conference each year at a different location in the state. This year's event is at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Kalamazoo, Jan. 31 Feb. 3.
Lapeer City Manager Dale Kerbyson Selected as President for Statewide Managers Group - Feb. 9, 2016
Lapeer City Manager Dale Kerbyson is the new president of the statewide association representing Michigan's municipal managers. Kerbyson was selected as the 2016 president of the Michigan Local Government Management Association (MLGMA) during the organization's annual Winter Institute in Port Huron Feb. 2-5.
Michigan Municipal Executives Honor Alex Allie - Sept. 18, 2015
Retired Huntington Woods City Manager Alex Allie received the 2015 Patriarche Colloquium Award for his continued service to Michigan communities spanning multiple decades. The award was given to Allie during a MME-sponsored education session at the 2015 Michigan Municipal League Convention in Traverse City.
Lapeer City Manager Dale Kerbyson Selected as President-Elect for Statewide Managers Group - Feb. 9, 2015
Kerbyson was named the 2015 president-elect for the Michigan Municipal Executives (MME) during the organization’s annual Winter Institute in Novi, Jan 27-30. Kerbyson is now next in line to lead the statewide municipal managers group in 2016.
