MML Convention:

Emily at the MML is putting together a three-hour pre-conference presentation on Council-Manager relations. It will include modules as follows:

  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • MME/ICMA Resources
  • Evaluation tools and approaches

Mitch Foster (Ludington) is coordinating MME resources with Emily.

MTA:
Julius Suchy (Ada Township) is in touch with MTA staff and reports that we could have a booth at the Townships association conference in April of 2024.

MTA also does elected officials training, and we may be able to have a slot at future training sessions similar to the MML Elected Officials Academy we participated in last spring.

Julius and other managers may be featured in the May MTA magazine.

Google Drive

We are trying to build a toolbox of slide decks and sample programs and releases to help us elevate our profile statewide. Go to the drive, clean things up, and add your materials.

Social

Our goal is to open up our social media platforms to the broader membership and post good things about our profession. If you have a very specific set of skills that you have acquired over a very long (or short) career, please click on our next meeting link and help us help you help MME.
