Back in Business

By Aaron Desentz

Finally, the Michigan Municipal Executives (MME) Professional Development Committee (PDC) is back in the business of live in-person conference planning. This year the Summer Conference is set for July 20 – July 23 and will be hosted by two communities: Rochester and Auburn Hills. The committee is busy at work seeing to logistics, sponsorships, conference content, and activities. While we are working on a final agenda to be published as soon as possible, we promise that this conference will not disappoint. From IT to finance to management skill development, the range of topics being worked on will include content for managers at all stages of their career. Registration will open soon, check out the MME website at mme.org for updates.

Show Business

Troy will be the host of the MME 2022 Winter Institute. This year the PDC is working on planning both conferences simultaneously in an effort to be more efficient with meeting time. The Committee is planning a number of sessions with topics of great interest to the profession. We always invite ideas from the membership as well. Reach out to us with your thoughts on what topics you would like to see covered at the conferences.
