It’s Almost Time for Charlevoix!

By Rebecca Fleury

The Summer Workshop Planning Committee has been hard at work putting together an informative and fun conference experience entitled “Building Better Communities.”  Rooms are filling fast so hurry and register. You don’t want to miss Charlevoix in the summer. I know Mark Heydlauff is eager to show us all around his city.

Be sure to come early to participate in the pre-conference workshop on Women in the Profession. Heidi Vorhees, president of GovHR USA, will share her thoughts on “Bridging the Confidence Gap as You Navigate Your Career,” and MML’s own Emily Kieliszewski will give an update on the 16/50 Project.

You will find a variety of sessions to challenge your brain and inspire your mind on different ways to think about your infrastructure, redevelopment impacts, disaster planning, and medical marijuana, just to name a few. You won’t want to miss these and all the other great sessions planned. Come and network with your fellow managers, invite your interns and students, and talk to your favorite vendors in a variety of settings in the beautiful city of Charlevoix.

I hope to see you all there!
