Professional Development Committee Update

By Rebecca Fleury

The Professional Development Committee is busily reviewing the feedback from the Summer Workshop in Charlevoix. Thank you to all who turned in your evaluations and provided comments. These are important as we plan for the Winter Institute in February and future Summer Workshops.

Speaking of the Winter Institute, I am excited to host this event in Battle Creek, February 5-8, 2019. The planning committee is busy putting together a robust agenda with the assistance of Allison Gotelaere of MML. Make sure you mark your calendar to join the fun in Battle Creek!

The Committee also wants everyone to consider applying for a scholarship to attend the many great professional development opportunities that are out there. If you are not in need, perhaps there is a student or intern you know that could benefit from attending any of the eligible activities. Please help spread the word.

Lastly, don’t forget about the Professional Coaching support that MME offers to all members. Financial assistance is available for members to seek the advice and counsel of professional coaches to help with work and life matters. All the information you need to apply is on the MME website. It is so important that we take care of our professional and personal health.
