First, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support for my candidacy for the ICMA Board. In September, I was officially installed as the new Midwest vice president (three total), serving a three-year term. The process has already started to replace another Midwest VP whose term ends in October 2021. Per the Midwest Regional Nomination agreement, the states where members can submit their name for consideration are:
- Missouri
- Indiana
- Iowa
- Wisconsin
- Minnesota
The current VPs represent Missouri, Minnesota, and the mitten state. Per the nomination agreement, preference is given to the remaining three states for candidates. We encourage you to suggest any of your colleagues in those three states to apply. The deadline for VP candidates is January 8, 2021.
